Since the beginning of AKS in 1931, located in Schiedam, a lot of things have happened with this company. She moved to Vlaardingen in 1981 under her new name AKF. After 24 years it was decided to move again and in 2005 the company went back to Schiedam. With the new name and ambitions together with the 24/7 services as usual, and our ISO 9001-2008 certification. Damen Anchor & Chain Factory (AKF) is ready for the future.
